Darren Owen

Darren Owen is the COO of B2B music distributor, FUGA - part of Downtown Music. Owen’s career developed in conjunction with the growth of the digital music industry, first transitioning to the record label side of the business where he oversaw physical manufacturing for Sanctuary Records, then from 2007 onwards, Owen began to focus specifically on the digital side of the business when he joined 7digital. In 2017, Darren moved to Amsterdam to work as Head of Client Services for FUGA. Starting with a team of 13, Darren hired the first Operations staff outside of the Dutch capital, which now boasts a headcount of 55 across 4 continents. As COO, Darren oversees all aspects of FUGA's operational business, including trust & safety.
