Brittan Heller

Brittan Heller is a lecturer in the Stanford Political Science Department and an affiliate of the Stanford Cyber Policy Center. She’s also a non-residential Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, with the Digital Forensics Research Lab examining XR's connection to society, human rights, privacy, and security, and a member of the metaverse governance steering committee for the World Economic Forum.

Heller was previously counsel with Foley Hoag's Global Business and Human Rights practice. She also established ADL's Center for Technology and Society to bring civil rights into a digital environment and leverage innovations like AI, VR and gaming to promote justice and fair treatment for all.

She is a graduate of Stanford University and Yale Law School.
