Zephyr Teachout

Zephyr Teachout is an attorney, author, and professor of law at Fordham University. She has served as the Director of Internet Organizing for the 2004 Howard Dean presidential campaign and the national director of the Sunlight Foundation, an organization working to make government more transparent through internet resources. A former fellow at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society, Teachout has published and spoken widely on the potential harms an unregulated Facebook can pose. She has been a professor at Fordham Law School since 2009, and has also served as a visiting professor of law at Duke University, a lecturer at the University of Vermont, and a member of The Nation’s editorial board. She has published dozens of law review articles and essays, as well as three books.
