Hala Hanna

Hala Hanna is the Executive Director of MIT Solve, an initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a mission to drive innovation to solve global challenges. Previously, Hala led initiatives in the Middle East at the World Economic Forum, advised governments on public sector reform at the World Bank and the UN, and developed strategies for nonprofits. In her last appointment at the World Economic Forum, she served as Director of Strategy & Impact. Hala holds Master's degrees in Public Policy from Harvard University and in International Development from American University, and Bachelor's degree from the American University of Beirut. She served as Global Leadership Fellow of the World Economic Forum and as Senior Advisor to the Women Political Leaders Global Forum.
