Dr. Heather Irobunda

After completing four years of medical school, four years of residency, four years as an active duty Army OB/GYN, and now working for NYC Health and Hospitals, Dr. Heather Irobunda has treated thousands of patients. This experience has shed light on many themes, but one really stands out to her: there is a major gap in access to reliable, transparent online information for women to learn about their health. Having seen both sides of the doctor-patient relationship, Dr. Irobunda knows there are issues with women, particularly women of color, being able to feel comfortable with their healthcare providers.

Through her passion for community health paired with her medical expertise, Dr. Irobunda's goal is to help women to feel empowered when seeking medical care.
