Denise Hill

Denise currently serves as the Communications, Outreach Media Relations lead, and the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility co-lead for NASA's Heliophysics Division. In this role, she leads an award-winning team of diverse content creators and storytellers. Before coming to NASA, Denise led the communications efforts for the COVID-19 vaccine hesitance campaign for the Office of Minority Health. Prior to that she worked as a senior speechwriter and policy editor at the Department of Transportation. Denise began her career as an educator. She taught elementary school, college, worked as a curriculum writer & district staff developer. She has done extensive research & work in child psychology, education, and brain research.
