Stephanie L. Smith

She oversees NASA's flagship social media team, which has conversations with the public and the media about all of the agency's activities, from astronauts to X-ray telescopes and back again. When she's not guiding social media staff across NASA on best practices spanning 13 platforms, you'll find her hiking, cooking or reading. A veteran of the "Let's Go" travel guides, Idealab, and Webby- and Peabody-award winning "Channel One News," Stephanie is always game for the adventures that make great stories.

Stephanie holds a bachelor's degree in history from Harvard University, 10 Webby Awards, and two Emmys.
