Alison Surtees

Alison Surtees is a Creative Producer Consultant and Trainer, working across film, music and theatre. She is co-founder of MDMArchive and Future’s Venture, and develops training and capacity building in the screen industries in the UK, as well as creative entrepreneurial programmes in collaboration with In Place of War across South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. She delivers consultancy to ScreenSkills (sector skills body for Screen in the UK), The Film and TV Charity (UK), and various projects across regional film hubs around evaluative practice and impact reporting. Her passion is music, which led to the establishment of MDMArchive. Her focus has been on telling the often-hidden stories of women in music outside performers. Gender and access are key areas of her work.
