Divya Chander, MD, PhD

Anesthesiologist, neuroscientist, space medicine expert, & futurist working at the intersection of health, technology, data security & data rights. She is founder of a remote brain monitoring platform, practicing physician, Chair of Neuroscience and Faculty of Medicine at the Singularity Group, & Stimson Center Loomis Innovation Council Fellow. She formerly served at the Atlantic Council to advocate for technology for the public good, and is medical advisor to the XR Safety Initiative to build standards for digital identity and biometric safety and rights. Her research involves mapping consciousness and tracking altered states, developing theories of consciousness, & understanding the effect of psychedelics and human augmentation on consciousness.
