Josiah Hagen

Josiah Hagen is a Security Researcher at Trend Micro Research who has 20 years of industry experience with research and development using Artificial Intelligence techniques. This work began with deductive inference on large knowledge bases (good old-fashioned AI), and then switched gears to anomaly detection in enterprise messaging failures. The last 10 years he's applied his AI skillset to solving Cybersecurity problems, starting with DGAs and machine learning models for IPS blocking of exploit kits, and moving on to billion-scale clustering of malicious binaries. More recently his interests have been in promoting the use of Large Language Models to enhance security and productivity solutions.
