Batul Joffrey

Batul Joffrey is an investor at Kapor Capital, an early-stage VC fund that invests in closing gaps for low-income communities and communities of color. She specializes in economic mobility and opportunity, focusing primarily on the FinTech and Future of Work spaces, investing in products and services that contribute to a ‘life well lived.’

Prior to this role, Batul worked in the startup ecosystem as an operator. A SoCal native, Batul studied economics and statistics at UCLA, focusing her research on socioeconomic formation at the Center for Neighborhood Knowledge. She served as the Vice Curator for the LA chapter of Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.
