Founder + Creative Director
CTRL5

Owen is an award-winning director and creative director that's worked with Barack Obama, Jay-Z, ZHU, Bob Moses, SOFI TUKKER, Rema, Google, Apple, A R I Z O N A, Epic Records, Stella Artois, Sofar Sounds, Ford and Budweiser.

He’s won 15+ awards for his work at places like the Webby Awards, the Clio Awards and at SXSW, where he’s been nominated for best music video, won a grand prize in design and in 2023, served on the film festival jury, judging the music video category.

Last year, he worked with Navajo Nation to create the biggest piece of temporary land art in Arizona history to direct a music video for ARIZONA, a major band with over a billion Spotify streams. In January 2024, he won three Clio Awards for that project, including the biggest directing award of the year.

He’s the founder of CTRL5, a first-of-its-kind creative agency for artists. He started it to use his background working for Barack Obama's 2008 campaign, as well as creative agencies like Anomaly, to help artists create powerful visual worlds across their album rollout campaigns. He first helps artists develop a creative foundation and then creates content at an award-winning level around it, from album art to music videos to concert films.

His work, which includes 50+ music videos, has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Rolling Stone, Billboard and Paper.
